Naim launches SuperUniti: a new high-end all-in-one

17 July 2011. Salisbury UK. Naim today announced that they would start shipping their new SuperUniti high-end all-in-one player early in October 2011.

Delivering high-end performance from an all-in-one design in a classic triptych package, the SuperUniti extends the Uniti range and the possibilities for UnitiSystem and extends its suitability for large rooms and those who like to play their music just that little bit louder.

It’s easier to consider SuperUniti as a combination of Naim’s hugely successful SuperNait integrated amplifier, the multi-source UnitiQute and a Naim DAC.  This powerful combination encased in one attractive but understated package is sure to bring new owners to the Naim fold.

Naim announced at the start of their Summer Sounds: On Stream road shows that it would be shipping a free of charge update for the award-winning HDX Hard Disk Player, the compact ripping UPnP server UnitiServe and the NaimNet music servers. Available: end August.

18th May 2011. High End Show Munich. Naim today confirmed that a new internet radio feature will be added to its range of network and all-in-one audio players.

Naim’s Choice internet radio selection includes an exclusive link to the Radio Paradise 320kbps AAC stream

Naim’s Choice adds an extra menu item to the iRadio options. It highlights and gives easy access to internet radio stations that Naim consider to be of particular musical and/or sound quality interest or ones that are not available using the conventional 5* V Tuner Full service.

Neat Acoustics launches floor standing Ultimatum XLi

In a surprise move Neat Acoustics launches a floor standing loudspeaker based on the already revered Ultimatum XLS model. The XLi will be available in July.

The Ultimatum XLi is a new floor standing loudspeaker of compact proportions, It is engineered to deliver greater performance than the Ultimatum XLS by using a floor standing cabinet to deliver separate volumes for mass loading and crossover isolation. This follows a significant number of requests from retailers and distributors around the world who found that the performance of the XLS was ideally suited to potential owners needs but a ‘floorstander’ would have been more domestically acceptable.

Naim Boss Celebrates 30 Years

4th May 2011.  Salisbury,UK. Paul Stephenson took part in a significant celebration, involving the whole company, marking his 30 years working for Naim Audio.

Naim Audio, the UK’s leading hi-fi specialist design and manufacturing company, has just closed its financial year with a record turnover and growth of around fifteen percent. This contrasts to thirty years ago when Paul joined as the company’s only sales person with the brief to increase turnover from £250,000.
